Kottarakkara temple is now under the control of Travancore Devaswam Board.
The day to day administration is being done by the authorities of the board.
To help the board in all activities there is the Kshethraopadesa Samithy.
This samithy leads the devotees in performing all the renovation works of
the temple as per the directions of Devaprasnam.
Thanthry
Parsuraman, believed to be great founder of Kerala, consecrated as many
temples across the land. In order to perform the customary duties of temples
he authorized 12 thanthri’s. One among them is the Tharananallur Thanthry,who
is the thanthry of Kottarakkara temple.
